Project: Mobilizing, Facilitating and Replicating Socially Inclusive WASH Initiatives in India’s Urban Slums

Job Description  :

  1. To be responsible for implementation of all key activities and initiatives under the project within the given geographical area
  2. Developing and implementing appropriate strategies / systems / plans for varied needs of the project including weekly/monthly and long term plans, develop MIS
  3. Facilitating advocacy meetings, focus group discussions at the field, conduct awareness campaigns and supervise the Single Window operations.
  4. Undertaking a continuous reporting of project activities & document best practices.
  5. Managing the Field Staff and visits to the field to interact and understand the requirements of the community.
  6. Reporting/ communication/ co-ordination with various stakeholders.
  7. Contribute to review, monitoring and tracking the progress of the project activity
  8. Develop and implement the M&E system
  9. Provide support to performance evaluation process and working closely with the National Knowledge, M&E team.
  10. Ensure the quality of M&E related data to be collected throughout the program implementation.
  11. Document results of the M & E system and produce periodic reports required of the project and donor agency.
  12. Able to contribute to the major evaluation methodologies (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies.

Eligibility                           

Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate

Required Skill/s: Good in writing (English & Hindi language), communication, MIS etc.

Required Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience

Preference

  • Demonstrates sensitivity towards gender equity and rights based approaches towards diverse communities
  • Candidate who has relevant work experience and who is computer friendly and knows formatting, power point etc.

Compensation

Between the range of Rs.20K – Rs.25K pm (subject to TDS deduction) as per the relevant working experience

 

WORK CONDITIONS

Travel: The Project Associate, Field Coordinators and Community Outreach Workers are expected to travel to different slums / basties for mobilization work. S/He is expected to participate in to meetings / trainings /workshops and conferences as and when required.

Working hours: The normal hours of work are 9:30 am to 5.30 pm, Monday to Saturday, excluding 2nd and 4th Saturdays and public holidays, but depending on the availability of women/children in the basties may have to go for meeting them before and after office hours or on holidays also.
