The Centre for Advocacy and Research (CFAR) is a non-profit organization, founded in January 1998 is committed to advancing the welfare of the poor and improving the quality of life of vulnerable and marginalized groups.
A founder member of CFAR and Programme Manager from 1998 to 2006, Ms. Anuradha Mukherjee was involved with various projects the organization was working on from child rights and women’s issues to media education. During her years with CFAR she facilitated training workshops, developed media education modules, motivated communities and coordinated community based interventions like UNICEF’s intervention with children- “Augmenting Child Rights: Strengthening Skills, Capacity and Leadership”. She also planned and coordinated several studies.
Form November 2006 to July 2013, she was associated with Naz Foundation as capacity of Program Manager. She worked for various programmes – Care Home for positive children, home based care for children infected and affected by HIV, Milan programme for MSM (men who have sex with men), Peer Education Programme for youth and training and advocacy on HIV related issues. From December 2013 to July 2015 she did consultancy assignments for Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights as a freelance consultant; She was part of the inspection team for inspecting child care institutions in four districts of Delhi – North West, North, South and South West, prepared the inspection report for 18 institutions. She prepared a Status Report on HIV Infected and Affected Children in Delhi and Vulnerability Mapping of Children in Lal Quarters, Rohini New Delhi. From December 2015 to August 2016 she did consultancy assignments for Women Unlimited as capacity of freelance consultant; Women Unlimited is a feminist publishing house. Involved in editing and proof reading of books published by the organization. From December 2016 to October 2018 she did research assignments for HAQ-Centre for Child Rights as freelance consultant |
From June 2020 to December 2020 she did consultancy assignment for Vikas Vishranti providing education and life skills to underprivileged children in Greater Noida.
