CFAR was recognized as the best NGO partner for empowering urban poor communities with health & nutrition services. On the occasion of the 14th National Voters' Day, the District Collector of Ajmer, in collaboration with the District Election Office Ajmer, felicitated CFAR. CFAR received recognition in the "Best NGO" category for its commendable efforts in motivating and facilitating diverse community groups to register themselves as voters of the nation.

GENDER BASED VIOLENCE

The project aims to identify and recognize underlying causes for GBV in local communities and develop a localised response from the state to implement laws, policies and services intended to prevent and respond to GBV in a consistent manner. These objectives are coupled with a long term intervention focussed on changing deep seated mindset and attitudes towards women

Achievements: Baseline study conducted with 685 respondents from 10 gram panchyats covering 33 villages. Along with this FGDs with adolescent girls, SHG members, VHSNC members, ward members, frontline workers, teachers, young men and women groups, elderly women, single women, widow women and NGO representatives. Key informant interviews were conducted with the key officials and stakeholders at state, district, block and village level to develop an understanding of the root causes for violence against women
