The Centre for Advocacy and Research (CFAR) is a non-profit organization, founded in January 1998 is committed to advancing the welfare of the poor and improving the quality of life of vulnerable and marginalized groups.
Ms. Anuradha Mukherjee is a founding member of CFAR and served as Programme Manager from 1998 to 2006, contributing to projects spanning child rights, women’s issues, and media education. In her capacity as Programme Manager with CFAR, she facilitated training workshops, developed media education modules, motivated communities, and coordinated community-based interventions such as UNICEF’s initiative with children. She has made significant contributions to the empowerment of women and children through her diverse experience in social development activities, including special care programs for HIV-positive children and editing various feminist publications on the discourse of child and women’s rights. Additionally, she has led various research assignments on child protection and development and is currently working as a freelance social development worker.
