About the project: The yearlong project is an effort to aid the efforts of community representatives drawn from Transgender/Sex workers to shape worker-centric and gender-responsive rehabilitation in the post-COVID context. CFAR proposes to work in technical collaboration with three registered Community Based Organisations, Sakha (Bhubaneswar), Naibhor Sanstha (Jaipur) and Jhansi Laxmi Community Based Organisation (Ananthapur) with focus on rehabilitation initiatives related to livelihood and skilling, social entitlements and health care services as part of this initititive
The three focus areas of the project include: Skilling for Alternative Livelihood –as part of Garima Grah in Bhubaneswar and Jaipur; as part of SHG under MEPMA in Anantapur; Single Window for Social entitlements- improving access to social justice and entitlements through Single Window in Jaipur and Bhubaneswar and Gender Resource Centre in Anantapur and Access to Health Services: Awareness, ART distribution, testing services and vaccination drives/camps in Bhubaneswar, Jaipur and Anantapur
