The District Magistrate (South, Delhi) felicitated CFAR for establishing six Self Help Groups for domestic workers and registering them under the National Urban Livelihood Mission. Proud moment as our Helpdesk & Single Window Forum members received certificate of appreciation from the Women and Child Development Department at the Khishori Mela. CFAR was recognized as the best NGO partner for empowering urban poor communities with health & nutrition services. On the occasion of the 14th National Voters' Day, the District Collector of Ajmer, in collaboration with the District Election Office Ajmer, felicitated CFAR. CFAR received recognition in the "Best NGO" category for its commendable efforts in motivating and facilitating diverse community groups to register themselves as voters of the nation.

COVID Relief and Vaccination Project

About the project: In partnership with state governments and city administration of Delhi and Kolkata (including vaccination centres, local administration and the women and child department) the project is aimed to mobilize and vaccinate low-income families CFAR shall coordinate with local administration to ensure urban poor get vaccination slots and are able to register offline / walk-in to vaccination centres for the jab. This will avoid the need for online registrations and shall be coordinated at a district level and at a vaccination centre / public health centre level. As part of this intervention nutrition kits will be  distributed to most needy and vulnerable HHs

Achievements: The project has been successful in dissemination of correct and timely information on COVID-19 vaccination, provided 12644 ration kits and 10800 nutrition kits to children and facilitated vaccination for 19652 persons in Delhi and 14710 in Kolkata since June 1, 2021.
