About the project: This is a two-city project, Unlocking rights & entitlements for social protection for a period of one year. The focus of the project is social inclusion for marginal communities across six key milestones -citizenship entitlements, social security, food security, health care, civic amenities and livelihood through setting up of single window and help desks
Achievements: CFAR has been mandated by the Department of Women and Child Development to implement Saheli Samanvaya Programme, through a four pronged approach covering Samvad, Samriddhi, Creche and Mahila Sahayata Prakosth (Women’s Helpdesk) to facilitate delivery of financial assistance schemes to women in distress (widows, elderly, PwD). Partnerships for this include convergence with DM Office, ICDS, One Stop Crisis Centre, Shelters and DSLSA-DLSA, Department of Labour and State Health Mission. In Kolkata, CFAR is collaborating with Rajpur Sonapur, North Dum Dum and Kolkata Municipal Corporation to implement the Duare Sarkar Programme inclusion of marginal poor across 11 government schemes
